Jau Sattu Savoury Drink

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp Natureship Jau Sattu (Barley Flour)
  • 1 glass chilled water (250 ml)
  • 1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder
  • 1/4 tsp black salt (or regular salt)
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper powder
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped coriander leaves

Optional: 1 small green chili, finely chopped (for a spicy kick)
Optional: A pinch of dry mango powder (amchur)

How to make it steps:

  1. In a mixing bowl, add the Jau Sattu, roasted cumin powder, black salt, black pepper, and (optional) dry mango powder.
  2. Slowly pour in chilled water while stirring continuously to ensure there are no lumps.
  3. Add the lemon juice and finely chopped coriander leaves, and mix well.
  4. Pour the drink into a glass and garnish with coriander leaves or a pinch of roasted cumin powder.
  5. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Pro tips:

Add a Crunch: Garnish with roasted peanuts or seeds like sunflower or pumpkin for added texture and nutrition.

Spicy Variation: Use a dash of red chili powder or paprika if you enjoy a spicier kick.
