
Sweet Katarni Chura
Ingredients:
- Katarni chura (flattened rice) – 1 cup
- Fresh curd (dahi) – ½ cup
- Grated jaggery or powdered sugar – 2–3 tbsp (as per taste)
- Grated coconut – 2 tbsp (optional)
- Chopped banana or mango – ½ cup (optional, seasonal)
- Cardamom powder – a pinch
- Milk – 2–3 tbsp (optional, for richness)
How to Make: Steps
- Rinse the Katarni chura lightly in water and drain. Let it sit for 5 minutes to soften slightly.
- In a bowl, mix softened chura, curd, and jaggery (or sugar).
- Add coconut, fruits, cardamom, and milk if using.
- Mix well and serve chilled or at room temperature.
