Quick Masala Sattu Café Bites (No Cook, Ready in 5 mins)

Style: High-Protein | Gluten-Free | Easy Café Snack | Perfect with Chai

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Masala Sattu (Chana Sattu with spice mix)
  • 2 tbsp roasted peanuts (crushed) or sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp mustard oil (traditional Bihari kick) — optional
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped onions (optional for freshness)
  • 1-2 tbsp water (as needed)
  • Fresh coriander leaves (optional)

Method:

  1. In a mixing bowl, add Masala Sattu, peanuts/sesame, lemon juice, and mustard oil (if using).
  2. Add finely chopped onions and coriander if desired.
  3. Sprinkle a little water, just enough to bind the mixture.
  4. Quickly roll into small bite-sized balls or mini discs.
  5. Serve immediately — soft, tangy, spicy sattu bites ready in minutes!


 Pair with green chutney or spiced yogurt dip.
